Dr. Joseph Garza has practiced fertility and reproductive endocrinology for more than 30 years in San Antonio. He is a pioneer in fertility care and an internationally renowned lecturer and instructor in advanced laser, reproductive surgical and microsurgical procedures. Part of his extensive surgical experience includes performing the first Gamete Intra-Fallopian Transfer (GIFT) procedure in private practice in San Antonio at the Nix Hospital in 1985, as well as the first, two-egg donor, In Vitro Fertilization case in Texas. He also performed the first robotic tubal reversal and robotic internal abdominal cerclage in the U.S.
