San Antonio —Northeast OB/GYN and the Institute for Women’s Health made major changes when the New Year began to better serve the women of the San Antonio community.

The area’s largest women’s health practice has combined its administrative functions with Northeast OB/GYN and Northeast Pediatrics. These groups are divisions of Consultants in Women’s Health, so the medical services at each clinic within them will remain the same.

This is just the latest move to expand and improve service since the Institute for Women’s Health and Northeast OB/GYN partnered in 2009. Together they offer 13 locations throughout the San Antonio area with more than 50 physicians to help the women of San Antonio stay healthy. The partnership’s physicians deliver more than 25 percent of San Antonio babies every year.

“We’re only merging our administrative operations,” said Mike Koroscik, CEO of Consultants in Women’s Health. “If our patients notice anything at all, it will be more efficient service.” The combined offices are located at 1355 Central Parkway South, Suite 400, 78232-5055.
